ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Kory Sherland,  a work and life strategy coach to Autistic teens and adults and other teens and adults with disability, an online program creator for disabled people and allied health professionals and an avid lifelong learner. I’m also the author of 6 books under my pen name ‘Kathy Divine’ and assist aspiring authors as an author coach with publishing their first book.

In my peer mentoring work, I draw from my 48 years of lived experience, navigating a world, including the societal systems and expectations that weren’t set up for someone like me to thrive. I bring all of this together, in addition to the professional development I do on a regular basis, to all my work with my clients. Using my experiences and knowledge, I craft, in collaboration with my clients, strategies that focus on strengths and overcome barriers to meaningful participation in employment, social and community life.

I grew up in Sydney, Australia, have lived in several cities and towns around Australia and love travelling and exploring this beautiful planet. I currently reside in Brisbane.

I’ve had the privilege of meeting several high-achieving and influential people over the years who have encouraged and inspired my work. I’m forever grateful for all opportunities that come my way.

When I’m not working or studying, I love visiting my favourite vegan restaurants, playing drums, reading books about animals and meditating.

Watching comedy TV shows is my favourite way to relax and unwind. I’m a big music lover too. My favourite bands and singers are Icehouse, Pet Shop Boys, Keane and James Blunt.

I share my life adventures on @KorySherland and my coaching and consulting work on @AutieTalk (Instagram). Let’s connect!

For professional connecting, let’s meet on LinkedIn.

Have a powerful day ~ I believe in you!

Little note about reviews: You will see on this website some reviews from my past author coaching clients but you won’t see reviews from my Autie Talk peer mentoring clients. Due to the often personal and sensitive nature of these sessions, I closely guard my client’s confidentiality and privacy, and therefore don’t seek reviews from my clients. Some clients choose to talk about my services on their own social media accounts, which they most welcome to do. 🙂
